Estudio Complexus is a firm focused on Architecture and Design. It emerges from the collaboration of Architects Jimena López Carreto and Carlos Jesús Rivas Jiménez. The Studio proposes a very particular focus; it considers that “good design” should be a constant in all spaces where humans are present without being attached to economic restrictions or catering to a socially privileged niche.
At Estudio Complexus, we consider that there is an inherent correlation between the final users and their environment. Therefore, the right contextualization of our projects allows us to offer the best solution in terms of quality design, always looking for sustainability.
Estudio Complexus takes its name from the Latin word “complexus” (which means intertwined, braided, or creased together, making a unit). The term sketches out the idea of different elements coming together, creating a bigger entity. This model of integration is a basic principle of our reality and reflects a present concept in every creative construction. Additionally, it reflects the idea of collaborating and working together with a common aim.
In Estudio Complexus, the main philosophy which governs our projects consists of the inclusion of sustainable parameters as a way to develop areas of quality that reconnect the human being with its natural environment. We prioritize the particular needs of the user, using design as the main tool of transformation to materialize pleasant spaces that are socially responsible and economically affordable.
The essential values in our work are honesty and responsibility, translated into a strong commitment to people and the care of the planet Earth.
We seek to integrate design into every aspect of life, offering an accessible and high-quality service to anyone.
Estudio Complexus believes that a better future is possible, where design is considered an essential tool to achieve sustainability and well-being, making both design and architecture accessible at every level.
