At Estudio Complexus, the work team, as well as the collaboration between different professionals, is the guiding axis that allows us to approach projects of diverse scales, always prioritizing quality work and adapting to any unexpected situation in each project.
The architect Jimena Carreto studied for her university degree at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Unidad Xochimilco and graduated in 2018. She also holds a degree in Public Accounting from the Escuela Superior de Comercio y Administración at the Santo Tomás Casco campus of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional, which was her first bachelor’s degree. She graduated in 2009.
She has participated in several national contests and has collaborated on projects with architect Carlos Rivas. Due to a shared understanding of work and a mutual appreciation for design, she decided to venture into entrepreneurship and establish her own studio.
The architect Carlos Rivas obtained his university degree in the year 2010 from the Faculty of Architecture at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). In 2020, he obtained his master’s degree in Architectural Design, specializing in Sustainability and Complex Thinking, also from UNAM.
Throughout his professional career, he has developed various projects both collaboratively and individually. In 2022, after several years of collaboration with architect Jimena Carreto, he founded Estudio Complexus.
